You have to excuse me, but the copy of the title Is not mine, is actually a Ted Talk phrase from Amy Cuddy.
The reason I’m bringing this here and started writing this post is that, while doing my presentation about selling out myself for my Advertising sales class I found out this Ted Talk, please watch it until the end.
Is amazing all the learning experiences we have in our lives and many things that we let pass by. All the very interesting people we found on our way, that bright from the very inside. Of course, there are others that even though they have the money to buy everything they wish and want, have complex outcomes in their living’s experience.
So coming to Canada or being a migrant everywhere in the world is tuff, it is. I’m not supposed to be here. I have all to achieve a justified fail; debts, not having enough money to pay my tuition, a recently born daughter (Expenses related to), had a cool job in my country that I loved, worked in a corporation that I admired so much, followed my bosses like my leaders, all this by taking few risk. But being scared of fail is actually a little bit fun, today as I’m writing this I have so much to be thankful for. I love everything about my life, my wife, of course, my little baby, my studies.
My first 12 weeks in Canada had been a full challenge. Nowadays time for me is more valuable than ever before. So by this, I guess I just want to say thank you to everyone that I have found and push me into this way to come to this crazy adventure.
To all migrants everywhere, you might not be supposed to be there, but make the best of it, right here, right now.
